Shaping the Identity: The Theme and Logo of Jack 'n' Trey
Hey everyone, Trey here!
I wanted to take a moment to talk about the branding of Jack 'n' Trey—specifically, our theme and logos. You’re already on the website, so you’ve probably noticed the design, but I’m excited to highlight the thought process behind these visuals and how they reflect the core of this project.
🎨 The Theme
The theme of the website is heavily inspired by our logo’s color palette and style. The vibrant gradient of blue to green is a key part of the identity. These colors represent a fusion of creativity and technology:
Blue symbolizes tech, stability, and innovation—the backbone of the sysadmin and self-hosting side of this project.
Green represents growth, creativity, and exploration—perfect for gaming mods and building something new.
The darker background is intentional, creating contrast that makes the bright logo and elements pop while giving the site a sleek, modern look. It’s functional yet bold, mirroring what Jack 'n' Trey is all about: a space for gamers and techies to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
🔗 The Logos
Here’s a look at the logos we’re using:
Primary Logo
The primary logo is the one without the circle. It’s sleek, modern, and versatile, perfect for representing Jack 'n' Trey in a bold and professional way.
Secondary Logo
The round version of the logo is more compact and adaptable, ideal for social media, avatars, or smaller branding needs.
Both designs incorporate the same color palette and glitch effect to give the branding a unified identity.

🌟 Why It Matters
The geometric icon in the logo is more than just a design choice—it symbolizes structure and creativity. It ties together the dual nature of Jack 'n' Trey: the tech-driven backbone and the creative modding frontier. The glitchy text adds a nod to the modding world and the sometimes chaotic, exciting process of creating and customizing.
These visuals are meant to represent not just me and Jack but the community we’re building. They reflect the balance between gaming and tech, and the potential to create something unique.
Thanks for checking out the logos and the thought behind them. Let me know what you think in the comments—your feedback means the world as we refine and expand the project.
Cheers,
Trey
